- Born on December 21, 1993, in the city of Sumy. In 2010, he graduated from specialized school No. 29 in Sumy, and in 2012 - from the Sumy Center for Vocational and Technical Education, obtaining the profession of "Electric Gas Welder. Locksmith for assembling metal structures." Since 2011, he studied part-time at the Faculty of Law of Sumy State University. From November 2012 to November 2013, he served in the 179th Combined Training Center of the Communication Troops of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (military unit A3990, Poltava). In 2014, he was mobilized by the Sumy Combined City Military Commissariat into the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He served in the 93rd Separate Guards Mechanized Kharkiv Red Banner Brigade, awarded the Orders of Suvorov and Kutuzov of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (military unit A1302, the urban-type settlement of Cherkaskoye, Novomoskovsk district, Dnipropetrovsk region). Since October 2014, he participated in the anti-terrorist operation in eastern Ukraine. From October 15, 2014, he was involved in the defense of the new terminal of the International Airport "Donetsk" and the settlement of Pisky in the Yasynuvata district of Donetsk region. On January 15, 2015, during a battle with Russian-terrorist groups near the settlement of Pisky in the Yasynuvata district, Junior Sergeant Nikolaienko sustained shrapnel wounds, from which he died that same day in a hospital in the city of Artemivsk (now Bakhmut), Donetsk region. On January 18, 2015, he was buried in the Alley of Honorable Citizens at the Central Cemetery of Sumy. In the city of Sumy, on May 6, 2016, memorial plaques were unveiled in the hall of the State Vocational and Technical Educational Institution "Sumy Center for Vocational and Technical Education" (7 Oleksandr Shaparenko Street) and on September 2, 2016, on the facade of specialized school No. 29 (25 Zalivna Street), where Mykola Nikolaienko studied.Book of Remembrance for Ukraine - Ukrainian memorial
