- Senior Soldier Mykola Pasichnyuk (call sign Pasia) died on November 27, 2023, while repelling enemy positions near the village of Terny in the Donetsk region. On November 16, the defender turned 36 years old. Mykola was born in the village of Babyn, Vinnytsia region. He graduated from the Nemyriv Vocational Lyceum, where he obtained the qualifications of a mason, tiler, and plasterer. He loved fishing and mushroom picking. He worked at a sugar factory for many years, and before the invasion - at Lustdorf LLC. With the start of the full-scale war, the man joined the ranks of the defenders. He served in the 38th Separate Rifle Battalion of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He was a squad commander. He went through many hot spots in the Donetsk region and was wounded. "Kolya was sincere, kind, intelligent, and hardworking. The best beloved husband, a wonderful father, a support and hope for his parents. A sincere smile, regardless of anything, always shone on his face. This is how sincere and smiling he is remembered by everyone who knew him," said the wife of the fallen warrior. Mykola was awarded the medals "For the Defense of Avdiivka" and "For Wound," as well as the Order of Courage of the III degree. The military man was buried in the village of Babyn, Vinnytsia region. At home, Mykola was awaited by his father Mykola Ivanovych, mother Alla Anatoliivna, wife Yulia, daughter Anastasia, son Maksym, and sister Aliona. In his native village, a street was named after the warrior.Memory Platform 'Memorial'
