Mykola was born in the city of Yenakiieve in the Donetsk region. He obtained the profession of a welder at a vocational school. In civilian life, he worked as a supervisor at a construction warehouse. He was passionate about cars and loved to repair them and drive his own car. After the start of the full-scale invasion, the man left with his family for Odesa. There, he was voluntarily mobilized into the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He served in the 12th separate rifle battalion. He held the position of a sapper in the engineering and sapper platoon. "He was extremely cheerful, kind, brave, never refused, and was always there," said the wife of the fallen soldier, Yulia. "He was a very honest person and a person of honor, kind and smiling, brave and fair, responsible, strong and unbreakable - a true man and warrior. He was confident in our victory and promised to do everything possible and impossible for this. Comrades-in-arms could rely on him. He was one of those who knew how to sacrifice," added his relatives. Mykola was buried in Odesa.
