Mykola O. Nakonechniuk (Kolian)

Soldier Mykola Nakonechniuk (call sign Kolyan) was killed on July 15, 2023 in battle with the occupiers in the Bakhmut direction. During the enemy tank shelling, the fighter received fatal injuries. The defender was 46 years old. Mykola was from the village of Bereh, Rivne region. He graduated from the Myrohoschansk Agrarian Professional College, where he mastered the profession of an electrician. He worked as a construction worker abroad. In his free time, he loved to go fishing. During the full-scale Russian invasion, in May 2022, the man joined the Armed Forces of Ukraine and went to the front. He fought in the ranks of the 3rd Separate Assault Brigade. Since January 2023, he has been defending the Bakhmut direction. Mykola was a tanker, well-versed in more than one type of weapon. According to his comrades-in-arms, he never lagged behind and always rushed into battle. For our "today", Mykola gave his "tomorrow". This is the highest price a person can pay for a common goal. Mykola was buried in his native village. At home, his wife Alla, daughters Diana and Solomiia, and son Dmytro were waiting for him.
