Mykola O. Spendovskyi

Spendovsky Mykola Oleksandrovych was born in 1971 in the village of Chernyatin, Zhmerynka district, Vinnytsia region. For many years, he served in the military in various military units in Khmilnytskyi and Odesa regions, and took part in the Anti-Terrorist Operation in the East of the country. He was seriously wounded twice. With the start of the full-scale Russian invasion of Ukraine, he was mobilized and was at the forefront. He held the position of senior officer of the armaments logistics department of the OC "South". He was killed on March 21, 2022, during an enemy shelling of the outskirts of Snihuriv, Bashtanka district, Mykolaiv region, while performing a combat mission. They said goodbye to the officer on April 14, 2022, at the Officers' Club in Odesa. Mykola Spendovsky was buried on April 15, 2022, in the cemetery of the village of Chernyatin, Zhytomyr region.
