Mykola O. Sukhariev

Soldier Mykola Sukhariev was killed on September 11, 2022, while carrying out a combat mission in the area of the settlement of Bilohorivka in the Luhansk region. The defender was 41 years old. Mykola was born in the village of Ostrovskoye in Crimea. He stu at the local general education school of I-III levels. Later, he settled in the town of Semenivka in the Chernihiv region. He participated multiple times in training camps for military reservists. After the full-scale invasion of Russian occupiers, Mykola joined the ranks of the 54th Separate Mechanized Brigade named after Hetman Ivan Mazepa. He held the position of a shooter-paramedic. Together with his comrades, he defended the Donbas from the occupiers. "It is hard to find words of comfort; it is impossible to heal the painful wound of loss in the hearts of the loved ones, as the death of the closest person is a great trial. This is an unspeakable pain and an irreparable loss that we will not forgive the occupier and will never forget," noted the Semenivka community page. The serviceman was buried in the town of Semenivka in Chernihiv region.
