- Born on October 5, 1984, in the village of Holiky, Slavuta district, Khmelnytskyi region. Graduated from 9 grades of general education school No. 1 in the city of Slavuta, Khmelnytskyi region, then attended Slavuta Professional Lyceum. Served in the ranks of the Internal Troops of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine (Lviv city). Resided in the city of Yuzhnoukrainsk, Mykolaiv region. In August 2014, he was drafted by the Yuzhnoukrainsk-Arbuzynsk Combined City Military Commissariat of Mykolaiv region during partial mobilization into the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Served in the 17th Territorial Defense Battalion (later - 17th Separate Motorized Infantry Battalion of the 57th Separate Motorized Infantry Brigade) of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (military unit field post V2304). Since the fall of 2014, he participated in the anti-terrorist operation in eastern Ukraine. On May 21, 2015, soldier Honcharuk was killed around 21:00 as a result of a mortar shelling by Russian-terrorist groups at a checkpoint of Ukrainian troops near the urban-type settlement of Leninske, Dzerzhynsk City Council (now - Pivdenne, Toretsk City Council) in Donetsk region. On May 24, 2015, he was buried in the cemetery of the village of Holiky, Slavuta district, Khmelnytskyi region. Honorary citizen of the city of Slavuta, Khmelnytskyi region (posthumously on March 27, 2015). On January 29, 2016, a memorial plaque was unveiled in the city of Slavuta on the facade of general education school No. 1 (Hnata Kuzovkova Street, 12), where Mykola Honcharuk studied.Book of Remembrance for Ukraine - Ukrainian memorial
