Mykola S. Komisarchuk (Rudyi)

Sergeant Mykola Komisarchuk (call sign Rudyi) was killed on May 15, 2024. The warrior sustained gunshot wounds while carrying out a combat mission in the city of Vovchansk, Kharkiv region. The defender was taken from the battlefield to the hospital, received medical assistance, but unfortunately, the injuries were incompatible with life. In 5 days, the warrior would have turned 27 years old. Mykola was born in the village of Chornorудka, Zhytomyr region. After finishing school, he studied at the Kozeiatyn Higher Vocational School. In civilian life, he worked as a cook. He loved to cook, did it constantly, improvising and creating real culinary masterpieces. In recent years, he lived in Kyiv. In 2017, he signed a contract with the Armed Forces of Ukraine. With the start of the full-scale invasion, he transferred to service in one of the assault units of the Main Directorate of Intelligence of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine. For his service, the defender received the medal of the Main Directorate of Intelligence of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine "Ukraine above all". "On the second week of our acquaintance, Mykola proposed to me to become his wife and put a ring on my finger. All the time after that, we called each other 'beloved husband' and 'beloved wife'. He wanted to start a family, dreamed that a daughter would be born, whom he wanted to name Sofiya. Before meeting me, he propagated that relationships are nonsense, but everything changed radically after our meeting. He served under contract from 2017, in 2022 he became a fighter of an elite assault unit. He always went first and never turned back. He was a true warrior, respected his comrades-in-arms and his commander. He always fought for justice, was humane and kind (he loved animals - that's why we started communicating). He repeated the slogan of the Main Directorate of Intelligence of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine - 'The wise will rule over the stars'. He was always devoted to his cause. I love you endlessly, my Reksik!" - said the bride Ivanna. The defender was buried in his native village. Mykola is survived by his father, sister, and fiancée.
