Biography
Mykola Serhiyovych Rachok was born on May 31, 1995 in Vinnytsia. He graduated from the Vinnytsia Technical Lyceum. In 2016, he completed a bachelor's degree at the Kyiv-Mohyla Academy in the specialty "Philology: Ukrainian Language and Literature". In 2018, he obtained a master's degree in the program "Theory, History, Literature and Comparative Studies". After graduating from the university in 2018-2019, he served in the Armed Forces of Ukraine, writing ironic posts about the state of affairs in army units. He worked as a journalist at the largest automotive portal "Infocar", being the author of the Ukrainian-language version of the resource. Later, he worked at "Kunst". On February 24, 2022, without combat experience and military specialty, he joined the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. At first, he served in Kyiv, then in eastern Ukraine, as a serviceman of the 58th separate motorized infantry brigade named after Hetman Ivan Vyhovsky. According to his comrades-in-arms, Mykola was a true warrior, consciously went into battle, and returned to the front even after being offered a longer vacation after difficult weeks in the Luhansk region. He was killed on July 19, 2022 in a battle near the village of Pokrovske, Bakhmut district, Donetsk region. The fighter was buried in the village of Stadnytsia, Vinnytsia region.Burial place
