- Senior Sergeant Mykola Hryniaiev (call sign "Starshyna) was killed on June 19, 2023 near the city of Kreminna in the Luhansk region. During the performance of a combat mission, the soldier received a fatal mine-explosive injury. The defender was 53 years old. Mykola was from the village of Oleksiivka in the Kharkiv region. From childhood, he lived with his parents in the city of Pervomaisky. There he studied at the local school. Later, he obtained the qualifications of a locksmith, installer, and electric welder at the Pervomaisky SPTU-29. He got married. He lived with his family in the city of Vovchansk. For a long time, he worked at a private enterprise that specialized in the production of sunflower oil. In recent years, he worked as a loader at the "ATB-market" company. He loved to spend his free time resting with his grandchildren and family. When the full-scale war began, the man found himself under occupation in Vovchansk. When the city was liberated, he immediately went to Pervomaisky and went to the military enlistment office. At the beginning of 2023, he joined the ranks of the National Guard of Ukraine. He was the head of the checkpoint of the 4th rifle battalion of the 15th separate Sloviansk regiment. At first, he defended the Kharkiv region, then the Luhansk region. "There are very few people like my father in the world. He was very cheerful, always helped people, had many friends. He was always a friendly, courageous, kind, honest and decent person, he always went to meet those who needed help... Despite his age, he went to defend our state and rebuff all those who interfere with peaceful people living," said Anastasia Mytiaeva. The National Guard soldier was buried in his native village. At home, his father, wife and two children were waiting for Mykola.Memory Platform 'Memorial'
