While carrying out a combat mission, the defender came under tank fire and received shrapnel wounds incompatible with life. Mykola was 22 years old. He was born in the village of Nyzhnii Bystryi, Zakarpattia region. In 2017, he graduated from the Vasyl Vovchok Secondary School there. He was a student of the author's children's art school of Laszlo Haidu, a member of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine, at the Khust School of Arts. He dreamed of studying military affairs. He lived in the village of Vuchkove. He worked abroad. In the spring of 2022, he voluntarily joined the Armed Forces of Ukraine, joining the 110th Separate Mechanized Brigade named after Major General Marko Bezruchko. He was awarded the Order of Courage of the III degree, the badge "For Exemplary Service", the honorary badge "Steel Cross", the award of the President of Ukraine "For the Defense of Ukraine", and the medal "For the Defense of the Native State". "Kolya was an extraordinarily beautiful, bright, kind, and loving man. He loved children very much, there were no strangers for him. He always dreamed of a daughter, but he was killed seven months before her birth, unfortunately," said his wife Anhelina. Mykola was buried in the central cemetery of his native village. The warrior left behind a wife, a daughter, parents, and an older sister. At the end of 2023, a memorial plaque in honor of the fallen defender was installed on the facade of the Nyzhniobystryi Lyceum named after Vasyl Vovchok.Memory Platform 'Memorial'
