- Soldier Mykola Potiychuk was killed on October 22, 2022, near the settlement of Kurdyumivka in Donetsk region. The life of the 29-year-old fighter was cut short by enemy artillery shelling. Mykola was born in the settlement of Narodychi in the Zhytomyr region. He received his secondary education at Novoradchanska Secondary School. He worked in security firms in Kyiv. He got married and started a family. He dreamed of a peaceful future for his child and wanted to protect her. During the full-scale Russian invasion, he was mobilized into the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He served in the 30th Separate Mechanized Brigade named after Prince Kostyantyn Ostrozky. He held the position of a shooter - assistant grenade launcher. "Our Mykola was a sincere and kind person, a good brother, friend, and a wonderful family man. He had golden hands - whatever he took on, he succeeded. And he was very brave. At the first need, without hesitation, he went to defend our Ukraine," said the deceased's sister, Natalia. "We understand how hard it is to come to terms with this irreparable grief that words cannot heal. We express our deepest condolences, share together with relatives and close ones the pain of loss, and mourn together with you," the Narodychi community stated. The serviceman was buried in his native settlement. Mykola is survived by his wife, daughter, relatives, and close ones.Memory Platform 'Memorial'
