Mykola V. Tsiuryk

Mykola Volodymyrovych Tsuryk was born on May 17, 1981, in the town of Kamin-Kashyrskyi in Volyn. He graduated from a local vocational school and obtained a profession as a tractor driver. He went to other countries for seasonal work. In 2014, he joined the ranks of the defenders of Ukraine as part of the 14th Mechanized Brigade and participated in combat operations in the eastern part of the country. After the beginning of the full-scale invasion of Russia, he went to defend Ukraine again. He headed to a hot spot on February 24, 2022. He was killed on March 12, 2022, during an artillery shelling near the village of Nalyvaikovka in the Kyiv region. He was buried on March 15, 2022, in the local cemetery in Kamin-Kashyrskyi.
