- Soldier Mykola Voichyshen (call sign Tyhyi) died on May 22, 2022, in a hospital from severe injuries sustained in battle for the city of Severodonetsk in Luhansk region. The defender was 36 years old. Mykola Voichyshen was born in the village of Hrynenky, Vinnytsia region. He graduated from the 9th grade of a rural comprehensive school. Then he stu at the Vinnytsia Regional Educational and Training Center for Agricultural Education, specializing in electric gas welding. In 2004-2006, he served in the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Later, he worked at the Tulchyn Meat Processing Plant. From the beginning of the full-scale invasion, the man voluntarily joined the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He served in the 115th Separate Mechanized Brigade, where he held the position of grenadier. "Mykola was a kind and hardworking person. From the first days of the full-scale invasion, he went to the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine with the words: 'Who will protect my family and children, if not me?'" - said his ex-wife. The defender was buried in his native village. Mykola left behind his parents, daughter, son, relatives, close ones, friends, and comrades.
