Mykyta V. Isachenko (Isa)

Soldier Mykyta Isachenko (call sign Isa) was killed on March 10, 2023, while performing a combat mission in the area of the village of Dibrova in the Luhansk region. The defender was forever 22 years old. Mykyta was born in the village of Yakymivka, Zaporizhzhia region. He lived in Zaporizhzhia. He graduated from the Zaporizhzhia Higher Vocational School "Motorobuildnyk" and obtained the qualification of a wide-profile machine operator. He worked as a loader at the MHP company. He served his military conscription in Poltava. Later, he decided to sign a contract with the Armed Forces of Ukraine. During the full-scale Russian invasion, the young man fought for Ukraine in the ranks of the 81st Separate Airmobile Brigade. He held the position of senior rifleman. He took part in the defense of the Sumy, Zaporizhzhia, Donetsk, and Luhansk regions. "My son was very brave and courageous. He always had a smile on his face. He always came to help. I miss him very much..." said Svitlana Isachenko. The paratrooper was buried on the Alley of Heroes of the Kushuhum cemetery in Zaporizhzhia. Mykyta is survived by his mother and sister. The soldier was posthumously awarded the medal "Defender of Ukraine. Hero of the city of Sumy".
