Mykyta V. Kuznietsov (Kuzia)

Soldier Mykyta Kuznetsov (call sign Kuzya) was killed on May 12, 2023, during artillery and mortar shelling of the positions of Ukrainian troops near the village of Krohmalne in the Kharkiv region. In June, the warrior would have turned 34 years old. Mykyta was born in Kazakhstan. From childhood, he lived in the village of Nemyriv, Lviv region. After school, he graduated from the Lviv Interregional Higher Vocational School of Railway Transport, where he obtained the profession of a locomotive driver's assistant and a mechanic. He loved music, playing the guitar, and traveling. During the full-scale Russian invasion, in March 2022, the man joined the ranks of the 103rd separate brigade of the territorial defense of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He took the position of a rifleman in the 66th battalion and went to the front line. "He will forever remain in our hearts and memory as sincere, courageous, brave, the best and dearest!" - wrote the deceased's sister Anna. "Brave, devoted to the Motherland, sociable and loving family man. When the Russian army crossed the borders of Ukrainian land again, Mykyta, who had no military experience, confidently put on a military pixel. Thank you for the protection! We pray for the rest of the soul of our Hero!" - noted on the page of the Yavoriv City Council. The defender was buried in the village of Nemyriv, Lviv region. Mykyta is survived by his mother, two sisters, a son, and a nephew.
