- Soldier Mykyta Lisovenko (call sign Nick) was killed on August 14, 2023 while performing a combat mission near the village of Robotyne in the Zaporizhzhia region. He would have turned 30 years old in October. Mykyta was born in the city of Sumy. He graduated from a local vocational school. He worked in the delivery industry. He loved life very much. He dreamed of opening his own car service station, building a house, starting a family and becoming a father. During the full-scale war, the man defended his Motherland as part of the 117th Separate Mechanized Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He was a gunner. He was awarded a decoration for the liberation of his hometown. "He went to war from the first days and stood defending the Ukrainian people to the last. He was and remained a person who is very much missed. There was not a single day without tears after his death. He was the one who never passed by when asked for help. He always helped those who got stuck on the road: either he repaired the car himself, or towed the car, or towed it to the nearest car service station. And how the children love him! Although they are not his own, but he did not consider them so. He dedicated almost all his free time to them," said the wife of the fallen Iryna. The defender was buried in the Alley of Glory of the Baranivka cemetery in Sumy. At home, Mykyta was awaited by his mother, brother, wife and two children of his beloved, whom he raised almost from birth.Memory Platform 'Memorial'
