- Bondarenko Mykyta Yuriyovych was born on February 22, 1997, in the town of Petrivka, Stanytsia Luhanska District, Luhansk Oblast. In 2015, he graduated from the Shchastyn Professional Lyceum of Automotive Transport at Taras Shevchenko Luhansk National University. He was later drafted into military service in the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine. Junior Sergeant Mykyta Bondarenko served as part of the 1st Border Guard Post of the "Shchastia" Border Guard Command of the 3rd Border Guard Detachment of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine, honorably carrying out combat missions to protect Ukraine's territorial integrity. On February 24, 2022, a combined border unit together with servicemen of the Armed Forces of Ukraine launched an attack on enemy positions. Through their firepower, the defenders of Ukraine forced the enemy to retreat disgracefully. In a fierce battle, Junior Sergeant Mykyta Bondarenko sustained injuries incompatible with life. For his personal bravery, selfless actions displayed in defense of the state sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine, and loyalty to his military oath, Junior Sergeant Mykyta Yuriyovych Bondarenko was posthumously awarded the Order of "For Courage" III degree.Memory Book of the MIA System
