- Senior Lieutenant Myroslav Pinchuk (call sign Amir) was killed on September 16, 2023, while carrying out another combat mission to fire at military equipment and personnel of Russian troops near the city of Zaporizhzhia. He received fatal injuries as a result of an enemy strike by an FPV drone. The officer was forever 36 years old. Myroslav was born in the village of Nova Mykhailivka, Poltava region. He graduated from the T.H. Shevchenko National University "Chernihiv Colehium". He studied at the Faculty of Physical Education and obtained the qualification of a physical education teacher. He loved sports and led a healthy lifestyle. He dedicated his further fate to the defense of the Motherland. He worked in the police, in the special unit "KORD", and later became an employee of the Security Service of Ukraine. During the full-scale war, Myroslav was an operational officer of the special unit "Alpha" and took part in combat operations in various hot areas of the front. For his worthy service, the officer was awarded the following awards: medals "For Courage", "For Valor", "For Loyalty to the People of Ukraine" of the 1st degree (posthumously), and the Order "For Courage" of the 3rd degree (posthumously). "The loss of a brother is a deep wound that will never heal. The pain and sorrow for him will forever remain in our hearts. He was a true friend, a support and a pillar!" said the deceased's sister Marina. "My brother Myroslav was a very fair and sensitive person, modest and simple, kind in heart and soul. He saved many lives and always helped the poor. He loved children very much, was a believer and lived justly, also loved Ukraine and was a patriot. Even when Myroslav was offered to be the president's bodyguard, he refused, because he said he would go to the front to help his comrades and save the lives of Ukrainians. God, how painful it is in the heart and soul without you, dear brother. My children always look up to the sky and say: 'Where is our angel Myroslav?'. You are our Angel in the heart and soul. You will always be in our memory," added his other sister Yaroslava. The warrior was buried at the Sovski Cemetery in Kyiv. Myroslav is survived by his mother Lyudmyla, brother Vasyl, sisters Marina and Yaroslava, and six nephews, whom Myroslav lived with and loved as his own children.
