Nazar H. Utva

Nazar Hennadiiovych Utva was born on June 7, 2001, in the city of Nosivka, Nizhyn district, Chernihiv region. After studying at the Nosivka City Gymnasium, he enrolled in the Bobrovytsia College of Economics and Management named after O. Mainova. In March 2020, he signed a contract for military service with the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He fought in the East, was a rifleman in the 95th separate airborne assault brigade. During the full-scale Russian invasion of Ukraine, he held the rank of senior sergeant. On April 11, 2022, he was awarded the Order of Courage of the III degree. He was killed on May 26, 2022, during an artillery barrage near the city of Izyum, Kharkiv region. He is buried at the Spaska Cemetery in the city of Nosivka, Chernihiv region.
