Nazar V. Hubskyi (Vepr)

Soldier Nazar Gubskyi (call sign Vepyr) was killed on December 20, 2022 while performing a combat mission near the city of Kreminna in Luhansk region. The warrior was 28 years old. Nazar was born in Zhovti Vody, Dnipropetrovsk region. After school, he obtained the profession of a CNC machine operator at Dnipropetrovsk Higher Vocational School No. 17. He worked as a sales consultant. In his free time, he played football for the city team. He was interested in politics. During the full-scale war, Nazar was mobilized into the ranks of the 95th Separate Airborne Assault Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He held the position of a rifleman-assistant grenadier. "The young man bravely overcame the difficulties of military service, hardening the firmness of his masculine character in battles and bringing victory closer. He always tried to maintain a high moral spirit in the unit, caring for others. That's why his comrades-in-arms respected him. They noted that Nazar stood out for his desire for self-improvement, was purposeful and persistent," the Zhovti Vody community wrote about the warrior. "He was very kind, had a good sense of humor. He always knew how to console, cheer up or support. He was a real man and a patriot. There are no more and will never be such as him," said the widow of the fallen Halyna. The serviceman was buried in his native Zhovti Vody. Nazar is survived by his wife.
