Nazar V. Nebozhynskyi (Anhel)

Nebožynskyi Nazar Volodymyrovych was born on January 23, 1999, in Rivne. He played baseball and was a coach in baseball and softball. He studied at Rivne NVC "Collegium." In 2016, he entered the National University of Water Management and Nature Resources Use. After completing his bachelor's degree, he voluntarily joined the Armed Forces of Ukraine. On March 30, 2022, in Chernihiv Oblast, Junior Sergeant Nazar Nebožynskyi, a BMP gunner, shot down three enemy armored personnel carriers; however, the last cannon fired and fatally wounded him. He saved 20 comrades at the cost of his own life. Nazar Nebožynskyi was buried on April 4, 2022, in the Alley of Heroes at the "New" cemetery in Rivne.
