Nazar Ya. Makhnevych

Makhnievych Nazar Yaroslavovych was born on February 19, 1993, in the city of Chortkiv, Ternopil region. He studied at Chortkiv Secondary School No. 2. After completing his military service, he transferred to the part-time form of study at the Chortkiv Professional College of Economics and Entrepreneurship of ZSUNU and signed his first contract with the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He was a participant in combat operations, serving in various brigades. During the full-scale Russian invasion, he was part of the 8th battalion of the 10th separate mountain-assault brigade. He took part in the battles for Bucha, Irpin, and Hostomel. He was killed on May 5, 2022, during the capture of an enemy checkpoint in the village of Tsupivka, Kharkiv region. He was buried on September 29, 2022, on the Alley of Heroes of the Yagilnytskyi cemetery in the city of Chortkiv.
