- Sergeant Nazarii Dileta was killed on March 15, 2023, during a hostile mortar attack on the positions of Ukrainian defenders near the village of Bilohorivka in the Donetsk region. In February, he sustained two concussions, but still returned to the frontline. A month before his death, the warrior turned 26 years old. Nazarii was born in Ivano-Frankivsk. He obtained a higher art education at the Vasyl Stefanyk Precarpathian National University. He studied part-time, as he was conscripted into the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He served in Kyiv, in the honor guard company of the Presidential Regiment. In civilian life, he was a talented artist, had a talent for theater arts, and frequently participated in cultural events in his hometown. With the start of the full-scale war, Nazarii was mobilized into the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He was a senior grenade launcher in the 10th Separate Mountain Assault Brigade. "A person with incredible charisma and a sense of humor. Known to many Ivano-Frankivsk residents thanks to his active cultural activities and his easy-going nature. He planned as if he were to live forever, he lived as if he were to die tomorrow," said the deceased's sister, Maria. "Nazar was an extraordinarily bright person. The memory of such people must shine forever. To light the way for others," added the fighter's friend, Ivanna. The defender was buried in the village of Lypivka in the Ivano-Frankivsk region, where he spent his childhood. Nazarii is survived by his father Mykhailo, mother Anna, sister Maria, brother Mykhailo, and other relatives and friends.Memory Platform 'Memorial'
