  Born on April 23, 1973, in the village of Vertiivka, Nizhyn district, Chernihiv region. In 1990, he graduated from the secondary school in Vertiivka (now the M. P. Kyporonas General Education School). Since 1990, he has been in the Armed Forces of the USSR/Ukraine. In 1994, he graduated from the Poltava Higher Military Command School of Communications named after Marshal of the Soviet Union K. S. Moskalenko. From 1994 to 2002, he served in the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Since 2002, he served in the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine. Since the summer of 2014, he participated in the anti-terrorist operation in Eastern Ukraine. On September 4, 2014, he was buried in the cemetery of Odesa.
