Oleh A. Danchevskyi (Fartovyi)

Soldier Oleh Danchevskyi (call sign Fortuna) was killed in battle with the enemy on January 3, 2023 near the city of Marinka, Donetsk region. The defender was forever 24 years old. Oleh was born in the village of Nekhvoroshch, Zhytomyr region. He studied at a rural school. Then he obtained the profession of tractor driver-mechanic at the Andrushiv Vocational Lyceum. After completing his studies, he worked as a tractor driver, then as a taxi driver. He devoted his free time to his son, whom he loved more than anything. He very much wanted his child to grow up in a free country. He dreamed of family comfort. He had many plans for life. In September 2022, the man joined the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He served in the 79th Separate Airborne Assault Brigade, holding the position of grenade launcher assistant. He fought in the Donetsk region. "He was honest and fair. He loved his son Vanya very much. For me, he will forever remain that Olezhyk who will always listen, support and help. I really miss his shoulder, advice and guidance. He often appears in my dreams... I really miss Olezhyk... My brother - my Hero!" - said the cousin of the fallen Ruslana Chuiko. The paratrooper was buried in his native village. At home, Oleh was awaited by his parents, son, sisters, other relatives, friends and comrades-in-arms.
