Oleh A. Kashevskyi (Bleik)

Seaman Oleg Kashevskyi (call sign Blake) was killed on December 27, 2022, while carrying out a combat mission near the village of Kuzmyne in the Luhansk region. He was two months short of his 34th birthday. Oleg was born in the village of Hrushovo, Zakarpattia region. He graduated from Hrushivskyi Lyceum and obtained a general secondary education. He was passionate about football. He worked various jobs, and most recently was a seasonal worker in the Czech Republic, where he was involved in repairs. Oleg was drafted into the ranks of the defenders on June 6, 2022. He served in the 140th separate reconnaissance battalion of the Naval Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. "My brother Oleg is the best brother in the world and a wonderful friend who always helped those in need. He always went into battle first..." said Svitlana Bobova. After the last battle, the soldier's body could not be found. After a year, thanks to the search operations carried out, it was established and reported to the hero's relatives that he had was killed. At home, the warrior was awaited by his mother, grandmother, sisters, and nephews. On May 23, 2024, a memorial plaque was unveiled on the facade of the Hrushivskyi Lyceum in memory of the fallen graduate.
