Oleh A. Tsymbala

Sniper Olegh Tsymbala was killed in action on February 26, 2022, during the defense of Kyiv region. During the enemy artillery shelling near the city of Bucha, the defender received a fatal injury. He was 25 years old. Oleh was born in the town of Pustomyty, Lviv region. He graduated from the Interregional Higher Professional School of Automobile Transport and Construction, where he obtained the profession of a car mechanic and welder. For some time, he worked in his specialty. In 2014-2016, the man fought in the ATO in Donbas. He made about 20 parachute jumps. During the full-scale war, the man defended Ukraine in the ranks of the 80th Separate Airborne Assault Brigade. He held the position of a sniper of the 2nd category of the reconnaissance platoon of the reconnaissance company. "The kingdom of heaven be to you, my friend... May the earth be soft for you... I will never forget you, you will always remain in my heart. Eternal memory to Our Hero, and a deep bow. Sincere condolences to the relatives and all who knew and loved our comrade," wrote Lyudmyla Dunets. "Eternal bright memory to our Hero Oleh Tsymbala! Our community will never forget your heroic deed! Heroes never die!" noted in the Pustomyty community. Soldier Oleh Tsymbala was buried in the village of Lisnevichi, Lviv region. Oleh is survived by his sister and a small nephew.
