- 32-year-old soldier Oleh Antoshko (call sign Sahan) was killed on July 29, 2023 near the city of Bakhmut in the Donetsk region. The fighter was to take up new positions. But a hostile mortar shelling began, which cut short his life. Oleh was born in the city of Novoyavorivsk, Lviv region. He studied at school No. 1. Then he graduated from the Sambir College of Economics and Informatics. He obtained a higher education at the Ternopil National Economic University, majoring in "Computer Engineering". He loved to learn new things, do calculations and assemble furniture. He was passionate about computer games. His last place of work was LLC "Brama", where he worked as an equipment operator for wood processing. During the full-scale war, in March 2023, the man went to military service in the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He fought in the Donetsk region as part of the 3rd separate assault brigade. He was an assistant machine gunner. "He was brave, courageous, humane, honest, a loving father and beloved husband. He always came to the aid of others. Having started a business, he saw it through to the end. Unfortunately, the war made its own adjustments. Even before the war, he was limited in his suitability. When the war began, he said: 'If they bring me a summons, I will go without hesitation.' He constantly said that if he did not go to war, it would come to us. He always protected us, took care of the family, was always positive, with a sense of humor. My husband is a hero who will always be by our side and help us from heaven," said the widow of the deceased. The defender was buried in his hometown. At home, Oleh was awaited by his parents Ivan Volodymyrovich and Olha Bohdanivna, his wife Oksana, daughter Zlata, and brother Volodymyr with his family.Memory Platform 'Memorial'
