Oleh I. Chypchur

Soldier Oleg Chipchur was killed on July 27, 2023, near the village of Verbove in the Zaporizhia region. While carrying out a combat mission, he sustained fatal injuries as a result of enemy artillery shelling. The fighter was 37 years old. Oleg was born and lived in the village of Koniukhy, Ternopil region. He had a secondary education. He worked as a construction worker, including abroad. He was married and raised two children. He adored his family and loved to spend his free time with his children. He was passionate about fishing. During the full-scale Russian invasion, the man was mobilized into the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He underwent training abroad. He held the position of a driver-sapper in one of the combat units. "He dreamed of dancing a waltz with his daughter at her graduation and seeing his son's first soccer victories, but his life ended too quickly. Oleg will always remain a bright and smiling person in the memory of those who knew him. And in the hearts of his loved ones, he will always be the best son and brother, husband and father, neighbor and friend," wrote a close person of the fallen. The defender was buried in his native village. At home, Oleg was awaited by his parents, wife, son, daughter, relatives and friends.
