- Born on June 28, 1977, in the village of Vільне, Krynychanskyi district, Dnipropetrovsk region. He studied at the general education school in the village of Ivane-Puste, Borshchiv district, Ternopil region. In the spring of 2014, he was called up for partial mobilization to the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He served in the 95th Separate Airborne Brigade of the High Mobility Airborne Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (military unit A0281, city of Zhytomyr). From April 2014, he participated in the anti-terrorist operation in eastern Ukraine. On July 19, 2014, the forces of the anti-terrorist operation conducted an offensive on the positions of terrorists in the area of the city of Lysychansk, Luhansk region. During the battle, soldier Lyapin received several gunshot wounds incompatible with life. Also in this battle, Senior Lieutenant Savchenko, Sergeant Pushanko, Senior Soldier Burlak, and Soldier Lyapin were killed. On July 25, 2014, he was buried in the cemetery of the urban-type settlement of Shchyrets, Pustomyty district, Lviv region. On August 24, 2015, in the village of Ivane-Puste, Borshchiv district, a memorial plaque was unveiled on the facade of the general education school (Shevchenka Street, 62), where Oleg Klym studied.Book of Remembrance for Ukraine - Ukrainian memorial
