- Senior Sergeant Oleh Revkov (call sign Tyran) was killed on October 21, 2023, while carrying out a combat mission near the settlement of Stepove in the Donetsk region. The defender's life was cut short by enemy mortar fire. He would have turned 33 years old on November 4. Oleh was from the Zaporizhia region. He studied at the secondary school in the village of Tavriya. Then he entered a vocational school, where in 2008 he received the specialty of a woodworking assembler. Later, he moved to the village of Oleksandrivka in the Chernihiv region. In 2015, the man signed a contract with the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He served at the Center for Special Communications Support. He studied at the 184th Training Center of the National Academy of Land Forces named after Hetman Petro Sahaidachny. Since 2017, he has served in the National Guard of Ukraine, holding the position of rifleman and squad leader, with the rank of sergeant. Later, he returned to civilian life and worked in Poland. Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, he has again taken up the defense of Ukraine. Initially, he held the position of platoon commander of the guard company of the 1st department of the Nizhyn RTCK and SP. Then he was transferred to a separate rifle battalion, where he took the position of company chief sergeant. For his military achievements during his service, Oleh Revkov was awarded the "Participant of the ATO" and "For Exemplary Service" badges, the badge of the Commander of the Joint Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine "For Service and Valor" of the III degree, the award of the Commander of the 53rd Separate Mechanized Brigade, and the award of the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine "Golden Cross". "Oleh was a real, faithful, strong person. His subordinates looked up to him, he was respected in the battalion and his advice was listened to," said his wife Olesya. The warrior was buried in the city of Bobrovytsia in the Chernihiv region. Oleh is survived by his mother, pregnant wife, son from his first marriage, sister, grandmother, relatives, friends, and comrades-in-arms.Memory Platform 'Memorial'
