Oleh M. Pyliuk

Oleg Mykolayovych Pilyuk was born on June 4, 1993, in the city of Chervonohrad in the Lviv region, where he lived after finishing secondary school. At the age of 18, he was drafted for compulsory military service in the 80th Airborne Brigade. After completing his service, he signed a contract for its extension. Since 2014, he defended Ukraine from Russian occupiers. He participated in battles in the Luhansk region. From October 2018, he worked at the "Mezhyrychanska" mine of the state enterprise "Lvivvuhillia" as a miner operator of mining machines at DPR No. 1. He served under contract in the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine since September 2021. He was a participant in combat operations. With the onset of the full-scale Russian invasion of Ukraine, he was on the front line. He served in the 24th Separate Mechanized Brigade named after King Daniel. He was killed on March 20, 2022, near the city of Popasna in the Luhansk region.
