Oleh M. Trokhymenko (Trokhym)

Soldier Oleg Trokhymenko (call sign Trokhym) was killed on August 16, 2022, while performing a combat mission near the village of Mazanivka in the Donetsk region. The warrior was 47 years old. Oleg was born in the village of Ukrayinka, Zhytomyr region. He lived with his family in the settlement of Hranitne. He received secondary education. In civilian life, he worked as a drilling machine operator at the Penyzevychi quarry. He loved fishing, gardening and flowers very much. During the full-scale Russian invasion, the man joined the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He was a fighter of the 30th separate mechanized brigade named after Prince Kostyantyn Ostrozky. "He was the best at everything. The best dad, loving husband. A true friend and brother," said the wife of the deceased. The hero was buried in his native village of Ukrayinka. At home, Oleg's wife Lesya and daughter Nadiya were waiting for him. Posthumously, the military was awarded the Order "For Courage" of the III degree.
