Oleh O. Kozlovskyi

Oleh Oleksandrovych Kozlovskyi was born on September 25, 1982, in the village of Sadky, Kremenchuk district, Poltava region. In 1986, he moved to Crimea with his parents, where he attended kindergarten and then school. He graduated from school in the village of Shtompelyvka, Khorol district, where the family later moved. From an early age, he was interested in military affairs, loved to read and draw. In 1998-2000, he studied at the Khorol Vocational School, specializing in "Automotive Mechanic". In 2003-2011, he worked at a brick factory in Khorol, and later at a company that produced paving slabs. He had various hobbies - he studied fine arts and the Japanese language at the YESHKO courses, wrote poems, was interested in the history and culture of China, and enjoyed watching anime. In his free time, he did a lot of drawing. In 2016-2019, he participated in the Anti-Terrorist Operation in Donbas. Even during his service, he did not part with his field notebook, where he made sketches. From the first days of the full-scale Russian invasion of Ukraine, despite his health problems, he joined the territorial defense forces and then volunteered to go to the front. In the autumn of 2022, he defended the Motherland in the Donetsk region. He was a grenadier of the 3rd rifle squad of the 1st rifle platoon of the 3rd rifle company of military unit A4467. He was killed on October 16, 2022, in the town of Kurdyumivka, Bakhmut district, Donetsk region. He was buried on October 20, 2022, in the Alley of Glory in Khorol.
