Oleh O. Muzhkevych (Mukha)

Soldier Oleh Muzhkevych (call sign Mukha) was killed on January 30, 2023, while carrying out a combat mission near the village of Stupochky in the Donetsk region. As a result of enemy shelling, he received a fatal shrapnel wound to the neck. In January, the defender turned 21 years old. Oleh was born in Lviv. He studied at the local secondary school No. 72. After completing the 8th grade, he entered the Lviv Lyceum with enhanced military and physical training named after the Heroes of Kruty. Since 2020, he has served under contract in the Armed Forces of Ukraine. In 2022, he enrolled in the correspondence form of study in the specialty "Management" at the Ivan Franko National University of Lviv, but did not even have time to complete the first session. He loved traveling, mountain tourism, and sports. During the full-scale Russian invasion, Oleh fought as part of the 80th separate airborne assault brigade. "Oleh was always positive and kind, he kept calm in stressful situations. He helped and cared for his loved ones, even when it was difficult for him. He loved to joke and had big plans for life. He just started looking for new hobbies when it all ended... He was reliable and honest, a true support and simply an extraordinary good person," said Olha, the deceased's beloved. The warrior was buried at the Lychakiv Cemetery in his native Lviv. Oleh is survived by an aunt, two younger sisters, two older brothers, and a beloved girlfriend.
