- 27-year-old soldier Oleg Prykhodko (call sign "Malysh) was killed on November 10, 2022, while carrying out a combat mission in the Donetsk region. Near the village of Pobeda, the vehicle of the Ukrainian defenders, in which Oleg was traveling, was blown up by an enemy mine. Oleg was born in the city of Poltava. He completed 9 grades of school. Then he entered the Poltava Vocational School, where he obtained the profession of a cook-waiter. He served his conscription military service in the air defense missile troops. In civilian life, he worked as an electrician. On the second day of the full-scale Russian invasion, on February 25, 2022, Oleg was mobilized into the ranks of the 72nd Separate Mechanized Brigade named after the Black Zaporozhians. He took the position of a rifleman-medic. Together with his comrades-in-arms, he went to defend the country from the invaders. "I am very proud of my beloved husband. From the first days of the war, he defended and protected us until his last breath," said the widow of the fallen Oksana. "Everyone remembered Oleg as an energetic, active, cheerful young man, a reliable comrade, always ready to help. He loved his wife, dreamed of a happy future for his family, but the insidious war cruelly erased all dreams and hopes. We bow our heads in deep sorrow and express our sincere condolences," said the Velykobahachanska village council. The defender was buried in the village of Stepanivka in the Poltava region. Oleg is survived by his mother, stepfather, brother, sister and young wife, with whom he married in August 2022.Memory Platform 'Memorial'
