Oleh O. Ruban

Ruban Oleh Oleksiyovych was born on June 5, 1997, in the village of Shtepivka, Lebedyn district, Sumy region. After studying at the Lebedyn Higher Vocational School of Forestry, in the fall of 2017, he joined the Armed Forces of Ukraine. On February 13, 2018, he signed a contract and until February 22, 2021, served in the area of the Joint Forces Operation in the Donetsk region. After returning from the army, he settled with his wife in the village of Korovai, Hrebinka City Community, Poltava region. On February 26, 2022, he voluntarily joined the territorial defense of Kyiv, and on April 18, he was enlisted in one of the military units. He served in the 112th separate brigade of the Territorial Defense Forces. He took part in the liberation of Bucha, Irpin in the Kyiv region, and Vovchansk in the Kharkiv region. He died on March 2, 2023, in the area of the village of Yampil, Donetsk region. Oleh is survived by his wife and young son.
