Oleh O. Yaskovets

Yaskovets Oleg Oleksandrovych was born on July 30, 1992, in the village of Ruski Tishky, Kharkiv District, Kharkiv Oblast. He lived in the city of Nikopol, Dnipropetrovsk Oblast. He decided to serve in the army to protect Ukraine. He acquired knowledge in training centers. In November 2021, he was dispatched to the area of the Joint Forces Operation in Donbas. In February 2022, he served in the 301st Anti-Aircraft Missile Regiment of the Air Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. On February 24, 2022, at 5:00 AM at the location of the unit in Donetsk region, the first airstrike was carried out, after which the servicemen began to prepare for relocation. At 9:00 AM on the same day, a second airstrike was carried out on the positions of the division, as a result of which Oleg Yaskovets received a shrapnel wound incompatible with life. On February 27, 2022, a farewell to the fallen was held at the temple of Saint Righteous Peter Kalnyshensky in the city of Nikopol. Oleg Yaskovets was buried in the city of Nikopol, Dnipropetrovsk Oblast.
