Oleh O. Yavtushenko

Yavtushenko Oleg Oleksandrovych was born on February 7, 1997, in the village of Mykhailivka, Myrhorod District, Poltava Oblast. He studied at the Kremenchuk Lyceum with enhanced military and physical training, and later at the Lviv Lyceum of the Ground Forces named after Hetman Petro Sahaidachny. Immediately after completing his studies, he participated in the war in Eastern Ukraine as part of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. With the onset of the full-scale Russian invasion of Ukraine, he was at the front line. He held the position of deputy commander of a motorized infantry battalion in military unit A-0998. He was killed on March 12, 2022, near the village of Novooleksandrivka in Luhansk Oblast. The farewell ceremony for the fallen soldier took place on March 17, 2022, in his native village in Poltava Oblast.
