Oleh S. Lysevych

Born on June 10, 1985, in the village of Svarichiv, Rozhniativ district, Ivano-Frankivsk region. Graduated from a general education school. Served as a sanitary instructor in the 122nd separate airborne battalion of the 81st separate airborne brigade of the High Mobility Airborne Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (military unit field post V2250, city of Kostiantynivka, Donetsk region). Participated in the anti-terrorist operation in eastern Ukraine. Participant in the battles in the industrial zone of the city of Avdiivka, Donetsk region. On July 6, 2016, during a mortar shelling of the positions of Ukrainian troops in the industrial zone of the city of Avdiivka by Russian-terrorist groups, one of the 120-millimeter shells hit the dugout where the paratroopers were located. As a result of the explosion, senior soldier Lysevych died on the spot, soldier Serhiev received serious injuries, from which he died the same day in the hospital of the city of Avdiivka. Two more servicemen were injured of varying degrees of severity. On July 9, 2016, he was buried in the cemetery of the village of Svarichiv, Rozhniativ district, Ivano-Frankivsk region.
