Oleh V. Bohdan

Soldier Oleg Bogdan was killed on April 26, 2023, while carrying out a combat mission near the city of Vuhledar in the Donetsk region. The warrior was 38 years old. Oleg was born and lived in the city of Pryluky, Chernihiv region. He studied at the local school No. 10. Later, he graduated from the Pryluky Vocational School No. 34. Since 2013, he worked at the local factory "Belkozin Ukraine". He was passionate about technology and cars. With the beginning of the full-scale Russian invasion, the man joined the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Later, he became a fighter of the 4th separate tank brigade named after Hetman Ivan Vyhovsky. He held the position of commander of the anti-tank platoon. "Heaven's Kingdom to you, Oleg! You were a good friend, a sincere and kind person. A kind-hearted man with a golden heart! May the earth be soft for you. Gratitude to you, Olezhka! Heroes never die! You are now with God!" - wrote Elena Nechayeva. "The death of a defender is a huge loss for the whole country, but at the same time an infinitely greater loss for relatives, friends and colleagues. We express our condolences and share the grief with Oleg's relatives! We understand that the duty of every person who values life, freedom and democracy is to remember and thank those who gave their lives for these values. We will certainly immortalize the memory of the hero with a place of honor and gratitude at our enterprise. Heroes never die!" - wrote on the page of the enterprise where the fighter worked. "He was a true Hero! It's impossible to believe it! Sincere condolences to his family and relatives! Everyone who knew him knows that Oleg was sincere, kind, a Man with a capital letter! May the Heavenly Kingdom and eternal memory," noted in the Pryluky community. The defender was buried in his hometown. Oleg is survived by his mother, sister, wife and son.
