Oleh V. Byrchenko

Oleh Viktorovych Byrchenko was born on October 13, 1995, in the urban-type settlement of Krasnopillya, Sumy Oblast. He graduated from the physics and mathematics faculty of the Sumy State Pedagogical University named after A.S. Makarenko and the National Academy of Land Forces named after Hetman Petro Sahaidachnyi. He worked as a teacher at the Chernechchyna NVC. He was a soloist at the Krasnopillya Palace of Culture, winner of all-Ukrainian and international song contests. Lieutenant Oleh Byrchenko of the 26th Artillery Brigade named after General-Chorunzhyi Roman Dashkevych was killed on March 9, 2022, in Luhansk Oblast. The hero was buried in the settlement of Krasnopillya in the Sumy district of Sumy Oblast.
