Oleh V. Liebiediev (Krylatyi)

Senior soldier Oleg Lebedev (call sign Krylatyy) was killed on October 12, 2022, in a battle with Russian occupiers near the village of Ivangrad in the Donetsk region. The defender was 36 years old. Oleg was born and lived in the city of Drohobych in the Lviv region. He stu at Drohobych Secondary School No. 2 with an advanced study of the German language. He graduated from the Interregional Academy of Personnel Management with a degree in Law. He obtained the profession of a universal machinist at the Drohobych Vocational Polytechnic Lyceum. Later, he moved to the Czech Republic. On the third day of the full-scale war, Oleg returned from abroad and joined the ranks of the National Guard of Ukraine. He held the position of a senior machine gunner in the 1st battalion of operational designation. "You came back from the Czech Republic, having a good job. You did not hide abroad, did not wait for a summons, but expressed your desire to defend us and our state from a vile and terrible enemy. You volunteered to join the National Guard. You are our true Hero! You will remain in our hearts forever," wrote the sister of the fallen, Maryana. The hero was buried at the Alley of Glory in the Field of Sorrow in Drohobych. Oleg is survived by his fiancée, mother, and sister.
