Oleh V. Mykhailov (Hud)

Sapper Oleg Mikhailov (call sign Gud) was killed on July 16, 2022, during a Grad rocket attack near the settlement of Bilohorivka in the Luhansk region. The defender was 49 years old. Oleg was born in the city of Dnipro. He graduated from local school No. 29. He worked as a driver, was passionate about motorcycles, and engaged in sports. He had many plans for life. He dreamed of buying a new motorcycle and promised his wife to take her to the Carpathians. He also adored his grandson Timur, spent a lot of time with him, and even taught him to drive a car. However, all his dreams remained unfulfilled due to the full-scale war. Oleg went to defend Ukraine, as he could not remain on the sidelines. The man joined the 25th separate airborne brigade and went to the frontline. "Oleg was very brave and courageous, but the cursed war took him from me. Until the last, I hoped, believed, and searched for him, but unfortunately, my Olezhka was killed during the shelling. He was a sapper at the front. I will remember and love him until the end of my days," his wife said. Oleg Mikhailov was buried in his native Dnipro. At home, he was awaited by his parents, wife, children, son-in-law, and grandson.
