Oleh V. Otrubiannikov (Uhrium)

36-year-old soldier Oleg Otrubyannikov (call sign Ugryum) was killed on March 31, 2023 in a battle near the city of Marinka in the Donetsk region. While carrying out a combat mission, together with two comrades-in-arms, he called fire on himself. When the fighters were retreating, they came under enemy artillery fire, as a result of which Oleg received fatal injuries. Oleg was born in the city of Kryvyi Rih, Dnipropetrovsk region. He studied at school No. 22. Later, he graduated from the Kryvyi Rih Professional College. He worked as a driver at the Kryvyi Rih National University. His last place of work was the company "Vestashlyakhbut", where he was also a driver. He had many plans and dreams for life. During the full-scale invasion, Oleg voluntarily took up the defense of his native country from the occupiers. He served in the 79th separate airborne assault brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He was a machine gunner. "He was an ordinary guy, a person who had his own dreams and was striving to achieve them. He loved his parents, younger sister, and niece. At work, he was respected. Kind, reliable and brave. He was the best person, a true friend who simply loved his loved ones and went to protect them. For all of us, he remained a True Man," said the deceased's beloved Oksana. The warrior was buried in the Alley of Heroes of the central cemetery in his native Kryvyi Rih. Oleg is survived by his parents, sister, niece and beloved.
