- Born on January 24, 1978, in the village of Budo-Vorobiivska, Novhorod-Siverskyi district of Chernihiv region, in a peasant family. In 1993, he graduated from 9 grades of the general education school (now an educational and training complex) in the village of Budo-Vorobiivska. From 1996 to 1998, he served in the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He worked as a shepherd, mechanic, and locksmith on a farm in the Limited Liability Company "Promin" (village of Budo-Vorobiivska). On September 2, 2014, he was mobilized into the Armed Forces of Ukraine by the Novhorod-Siverskyi-Semenivskyi combined district military commissariat of Chernihiv region. He served as an operator of the 1st anti-tank section of the anti-tank platoon of the 1st motorized infantry company of the 13th territorial defense battalion "Chernihiv-1" of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (in November 2014, the battalion was restructured into the 13th separate motorized infantry battalion, which became part of the 1st separate guards tank brigade of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine - military unit field post V2278). He participated in the anti-terrorist operation in eastern Ukraine. On January 31, 2015, senior soldier Solomakha was killed as a result of a mortar shelling of post No. 3 of checkpoint 1302 in the city of Vuhledar, Artemivsk (now Bakhmut) district of Donetsk region. On February 25, 2015, he was buried in the cemetery of the village of Budo-Vorobiivska, Novhorod-Siverskyi district of Chernihiv region.Book of Remembrance for Ukraine - Ukrainian memorial
