Oleh V. Yandiuk

Born on January 28, 1991, in the village of Turchynka, Volodarsko-Volynskyi district (since 2016 - Khoroshivskyi district) of Zhytomyr region. In 2009, he graduated from the general education school of the urban-type settlement Irshansk, Volodarsko-Volynskyi district of Zhytomyr region. In 2010-2011, he served in the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He worked as a lathe operator in the repair shop of the Irshansk Mining and Processing Plant. In March 2014, he was mobilized into the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He served in the 26th Separate Artillery Brigade of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (military unit A3091, Berdychiv, Zhytomyr region). From the summer of 2014, he participated in the anti-terrorist operation in eastern Ukraine. On January 8, 2015, Senior Soldier Yandyuk was killed during shelling by Russian-terrorist groups of the positions of Ukrainian troops near the urban-type settlement of Petrivka (since 2016 - Petropavlivka) in the Stanytsia Luhanska district of Luhansk region. Sergeant Vovk was killed alongside him. On January 12, 2015, he was buried in the cemetery of the village of Turchynka, Volodarsko-Volynskyi district.
