Biography
A Facebook user, Rasmus Brodyaga: "In the background of this photo, wearing a helmet with a Degtyarev machine gun, stands Ryder. He was the second number, meaning he was supposed to supply ammunition. The machine gun could only fire single shots; each round had to be inserted into the barrel channel since the drum was broken. With such a weapon, the guys were ready to go into battle — unfortunately, there was no other option. Ryder was a romantic, he went through the entire Maidan, he was absolutely a non-military person. At one point, there was even a question of his expulsion from the battalion, but fate decided otherwise — he became a hero, like Matviy, Arkhip, Fedir, Ryabyi. The guys went down in history. We remember you."Military service
