- Senior soldier Oleg Druk (call sign Kent) was killed on April 13, 2023 in the battle for the city of Bakhmut in the Donetsk region. The warrior's life was cut short by enemy mortar fire. On May 31, the defender would have turned 32 years old. Oleg was born in the Kirovohrad region. He lived in the city of Kryvyi Rih in the Dnipropetrovsk region. He received secondary education at school. He graduated from the Kryvyi Rih Center for Retraining of Servicemen, where he mastered the profession of a cook. After serving in the military in Bakhmut, he worked as a passerby at the "Yuvileina" mine. In 2015-2016, he took part in the Anti-Terrorist Operation. Then he returned to the mine, and from 2017 he worked in Poland. When the full-scale war began, the man returned home and, without waiting for the summons, went again to defend Ukraine. Oleg served in the 4th separate tank brigade named after Hetman Ivan Vyhovsky. He held the position of commander of the reconnaissance platoon of the reconnaissance company. For his service, he received the awards "For the Revival of Ukraine" and "For Exemplary Military Service" of the III degree. "This was the brightest and kindest person, an exemplary son, brother and uncle for his nephews Ivan and Anna," said the mother of the fallen Natalia. The warrior was buried in the sector of Honorary Burials of the Central Cemetery in the city of Kryvyi Rih. Oleg is survived by his mother, stepfather, sister and nephews.Memory Platform 'Memorial'
